A collaboration between ACP, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and the Society for Ultrasound in Medical Education (SUSME), this webinar is designed to highlight the value of ultrasound as a diagnostic tool. This activity and the corresponding CME credits are free.

The curriculum provides an overview of best practices when using ultrasound in a primary care office-based setting. Learning objectives include:

  • Defining the role of ultrasound in primary care
  • Identifying at least three office-based clinical applications of ultrasound
  • Identifying an ultrasound training strategy for the primary care provider
